NUT Local Association and Division Websites

BOCC is delighted to be working with the National Union of Teachers (NUT) on an exciting new initiative to create and supply its local associations and divisions with their own websites.

This initiative is a big break through for the NUT, since it will enable them to keep in full view of their local membership and become an essential communications tool.

The portal site is facilitated by the YouDu CMS and each association and division that signs up (currently running at 120)  will have total control of their own content, including all photos, documents, meetings and events. They will also have the option to enhance their site with other specific online tools.

BOCC is worked with the NUT to develop the overall visual design and look and feel for the websites. The sites share a common suite of HTML templates each division can choose from, that can then be adapted for local needs.

Each division will be provided with training in order to use the CMS, as well as full online help facilities and knowledge base support.

NUT will be launching the first sites in September 2008, so we'll keep you posted on progress.
