NAPO Website Powered by YouDu CMS and YouDu Forms

The new NAPO website is powered by the new and enhanced versions of the YouDu CMS and YouDu Forms products.

BOCC recently redeveloped and designed the website for Napo (The Trade Union and Professional Association for Family Court and Probation Staff). Napo is the trade union, professional association and campaign organisation for more than 9,000 people working in the National Probation Service and the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS).

BOCC was selected as the preferred development partner by Napo, due to our extensive experience of working with other trade unions, such as the Trade Unions Congress (TUC) and the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF).

Napo were very keen to include greater online interactivity for their users as part of the new website development. Since the new site focuses on encouraging increased usage, Napo wanted like to promote themselves and further engage with the various site visitors, including potential and existing Members’, younger audiences and learners. This was achieved by creating the following areas of the site:

• Online Forms, Consultations and Surveys
• Discussion Forums
• Event and Course Bookings / Conference Registration
• Membership Recruitment Focus
• Searchable Resources Area
• Learning and Development Microsite

BOCC's Design Team worked with Napo to develop a new look and feel for the website. The main aim of the design for the Home Page was to promote 'Equality and Diversity', 'Recruitment' and 'Reasons to be a Napo Member'. This was focussed through the creation of campaign adverts, clear signposts to 'Join Napo' and a promotional video clearly outlining who Napo are and what they do.
