Active form logic

YouDu Forms includes built in logic and form controls. This enables you to easily create intelligent forms that can take your users to the next part of a form using the answer to something previously selected. Form logic is active, since the questions appear as the user is completing your form:

  • Branching – allows users to jump or skip to other form questions and pages based on previous selections or responses
  • A realtime indicator highlights branching logic applied to questions
  • Branching logic can be applied to individual form question fields, as well as groups of questions and whole pages
  • Piping – provides the ability to include the response of one question in a later question within the form. Therefore, you can populates lists based on responses, or questions can include the responses from earlier questions, such as a name
  • Calculation – sums numeric boxes or provides a calculation based on values selected
  • Advanced required field logic – assigning a field as required or not required based on the result of another field, i.e. either telephone or email address must be entered to provide contact details
  • Specify fields as mandatory
  • Set field defaults
  • Specify ‘From’ email address
  • Specify the text at the beginning of the email
  • Define text for trigger actions (e.g. next, previous, submit buttons)
  • Define exit options (i.e. URL to be displayed after form submission)
  • Specify ‘Thank you’ text displayed after form submission
